I couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for six weeks. The apartment is simply gorgeous and the views, especially in the evening, are just breathtaking. I don’t think I would have enjoyed being by myself for over a month in a foreign country quite as much had it not been for such a super apartment and fantastic host!

The apartment was simply wonderful! We spent the week falling in love with the city and South of France. The flat had everything we could need and the views are just breathtaking. The bed was very comfy too!
We never got tired of just sitting on the balcony (perfect size for 2) just taking in Nice and the sea. Such a beautiful place for all the holiday laughs we’ve had.
Laura was so helpful – the perfect host! – and it was lovely to be greeted by Valerie on arrival. So kind of her to meet us off the late flight.
We will most definitely be back to Nice and Laura’s beautiful apartment. Thank you again for adding so much to our stay and making our first time in Nice perfect.

We had a very pleasant stay here in this very nice and comfortable studio in the middle of Vieux Nice. As you can overlook entire Nice from these 3 windows, you feel like you are very important. You get the mountains, the sea and the city - just great. I would recommend this place to every person I like.

Another lovely holiday and glorious weather (apart from one grey day). Enjoyed cycling along the Promenade, walking down the Nietzche Path from Eze, walking from Cap d’Ail to Monaco along the coastal footpath, watching the piegeons line up along the roof across to the right, waiting for the cat to finish his dinner (about 7pm daily) and finally getting to La Turbie.

Our second visit in six months. We came for a short break and to experience the carnival. The flower parade was spectacular. Had a lovely few days again. The weather has been great – even got sunburnt in February! Used the balcony every day and never tire of the views from this apartment. Like many others before us in this book, this is our second stay in this charming studio. We had a huge list of ‘to do’s’ but we did other stuff and found amazing new places. However, one of the highlights of the holiday was takeaway pizza here in the studio, a bottle of the local rosé on the balcony and sunset. We sat out there for hours as it slowly got dark. Watching the cats skulk about on the rooftops.

A magical place and rather heavenly: the bells, the church domes and towers and the great sweep of the Baie des Anges! It is a beautifully appointed studio, Laura, in design and provision and especially in its unique situation. Your website is a good indicator but this surpasses all expectations. The magnificent Baroque staircase is a foretaste of the pleasures to come (after the climb)! I had never explored the riches of Nice until now: the wonderful museums (Chagall, Matisse etc), the Baroque churches and palaces not to mention the ‘Bataille des Fleurs’ – it is carnival time! If you like opera, the opera house is magnificent and just around the corner.
Two weeks of joy coming to an end but I expect to come back!

The website had left us with high expectations of what to expect from this studio apartment. We have not been disappointed. It has met and then exceeded all of them.
The perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the ‘Big Smoke’ – a glorious week of sunshine, panoramic views and a large serving of cheese (!).
If you are going to do any day trips at all, make it Monaco – absolutely spendid!

A perfect little nest on the rooftops with unbelievable views – light, airy and a cool haven to come back after the sizzling heat below. Our favourite evening entertainment was watching the aerial ballet display by the swifts.
Nice has so much to offer and we haven’t managed to do nearly as many museums etc that we’d planned so a good excuse for another visit.
The flat is perfect for trips out of town – bus station is 2 minutes away to anywhere you’d want to get to.

Absolutely stunning views! Your apartment is lovely – the design, decoration and everything provided. We found it to be very child friendly too with the safety gate and cot. Our daughter, Brinli, loved standing out on the balcony watching the birds and cats on the rooftops. We have really enjoyed our time here in Nice and loved wandering around the Old Town and soaking up the atmosphere. Yes, we got to spend a Joyeux Noel in this apartment after a week in Chamonix and Lyon. An excellent end to our trip! This seamlessly felt like home while we were here, walking around the Old Town, the old fort/hill and Avenue Anglais felt very safe. We have had a great time. Views from the apartment are fabulous. We have had such a choice – sea, rooftops, church and mount (watching waterfall). We were not sure if we would like Old Nice but the flat is above it all and the people, shops, markets and restaurants all make for a wonderful place. We would always want to stay in the centre of everything. A five minute walk to the bus station and you can be anywhere in at most 80 minutes. The new bus tickets are marvellous – so cheap.

The apartment was everything we’d hoped for and more from the moment we opened the windows and balcony door on arrival to be greeted by the spectacular views among the rooftops of Old Nice. Already looking forward to our next visit scheduled for March 2008 although something tells us we might have to fit in another short visit before the year’s out. We simply adore Nice and this gem of an apartment ticks all the right boxes.

Our second trip to Nice. First time I was pregnant so it was special to bring our son back. We love a room with a view so the steps were no problem and what a fantastic view it is and being so secluded it was great to be in a city and get a peaceful sleep at night on a comfy bed. All in all, a great apartment in the most picturesque location. What more could you ask for!

A wonderful week in a fabulous apartment, in a truly great location. Weather was wonderful, hot and sunny, but cool at night. Swifts played around the rooftops in the morning and evening. Restaurants within 100 metres were wonderful. Too much food, wine, coffee and ice cream. Apartment is well set up, organised and all was hassle free. Thank you Lorna and Mum (& dog). Can’t better what has been said before.

It was the most amazing holiday I have had in my life. When I entered your flat, I was amazed with the view and the decoration at the same time. It was hard to believe such a small apartment has got more facilities than our 3 bedroom house has. Whatever we needed it was there. On the other hand, neighbours are also amazing.
I will certainly return in the future and will recommend the apartment to friends and family.

We chose the apartment as a convenient base for visiting the Masters Series Tennis Tournament at Monaco – but what a delight Nice is! We found enough time to explore and will definitely be coming back with the rest of the family. The apartment is wonderfully situated – great views and everything in walking distance.

This apartment is truly a little gem of a place! With it’s central location of the Old Town, close to everything you’ll need – magnificent views – especially at night. We felt very virtuous looking out at the fabulous bell towers and hearing the sound of the bells ringing out every hour! In the past 18 months we’ve spent several short stays in Nice – this has to be one of the best, simply because of staying in this great apartment. Stairs – what stairs?

Just cannot imagine a better location for a base for Nice and Provence adventures. In one week we made San Remo/Ventimiglia to Les Arcs and Cannes. Lots of great gastronomical highlights here within walking distance.
The apartment is fabulous and with all the luck we had with the weather, the views from the windows were a constant pleasure.
Well equipped for pleasant cooking too, particularly now in the asparagus season Clean and tidy too. We’ll be back.

Fantastic location to soak up the atmosphere of the Old Town. Worth the walk to the top floor for the peace and quiet and stunning views. No better table for tea than in the apartment looking at the illuminated waterfall at the Chateau. Recommend the walk to the railway station (Riquier or Nice Ville) for a trip to Antibes or Menton (Cannes and Monaco can be visited same day).
We will definitely be coming back for a week later in the year or spring 2007.
